Bryant Corner Café & Bakery

At the corner of NE 65th St and 32nd Ave NE in Seattle, just at the edges of two iconic Seattle neighborhoods, Ravenna and Bryant, is a classic, inviting diner and bakery that would be right at home on the corner of small-town Main Street or the corner of a busy urban intersection, Bryant Corner Café & Bakery.

Bryant Corner Cafe & Bakery Facade

Bryant Corner Café & Bakery is a complete-package diner and bakery, with house-baked goods, coffee and espresso (sourced from Seven Coffee Roasters), and breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complete with beer, wine, and cocktails!

Bryant Corner’s bakery serves up all the classics: cookies, scones, rolls (cinnamon or otherwise), as well as pies and house-made breads, all topped off with a signature Bryant Corner offering, the All Day Bar. Bryant’s All Day Bars are house-made energy bars that come in five delicious flavors, Almond Cranberry, Trail, Apricot Walnut, Chocolate Coconut, and the Original—and are available not only at Bryant Corner but at other select local establishments.

The Bryant Corner Café & Bakery diner experience is as archetypal as it is fresh and original.

Bryant Corner serves breakfast all day (8am to 10pm), with all the essential favorites, many with a house twist. Bryant Corner’s French Toast, for example, is made with their house-made orange wheat bread, and Bryant Corner makes a house hollandaise served a top their many eggs benedict renditions, including Dungeness crab cake and smoked salmon benedicts.

Bryant Corner Cafe & Bakery Steak and Eggs

Bryant Corner breakfasts offer everything you could want, Swedish pancakes and Belgian waffles, house-made corned beef and hash, multiple breakfast burritos, scrambles, omelets, and of course, chicken fried steak, which we tried on our latest visit—the steak was breaded and fried perfectly, the gravy was rich and creamy without being greasy or overly heavy, chopped chives provided a fresh element to the dish, and the steak and eggs were accompanied by generous helpings of home fries and toast.

But as we’ve said, Bryant Corner Café & Bakery isn’t just for breakfast. Consider for lunch Bryant Corner’s turkey and cranberry brie or tarragon chicken salad sandwiches, or their house Top of the Hill Burger, with special sauce, or the award-winning Makelle Burger, with candied bacon, bacon aioli, and double cheddar on sourdough, or one of their many fresh salads.

For dinner, why not try one of Bryant Corner’s rotating specials of market fish or steak, chicken pot pie, or smoked salmon fettuccine?

And for whatever meal you are having, Bryant Corner Café & Bakery has the beverage to go along with it. We mentioned, of course, Seven Coffee Roasters coffee and espresso, but perhaps you have a hankering to turn that coffee Irish? Bryant Corner offers many traditional cocktails, again often with unique house twists, such as the Hot Monkey Bloody Mary, with five-chili-infused vodka and house Bloody Mary mix, or the Bryant mimosa, with prosecco and pink grapefruit juice.

Bryant Corner Café & Bakery also keeps a standing selection of draught and bottled beers and cider and several other rotating ale and lager and cider selections, often local. And don’t forget wine!

If all of the above were not enough to recommend a stop at Bryant Corner Café & Bakery, Bryant Corner is deliberate about providing a family friendly, homey environment, complete with fireplace, and an artistic outlet and venue for their neighborhood and community.

Bryant Corner Café & Bakery hosts on its walls (for sale) art from local artists—currently, Mary F. Lampe. Every Saturday is Jazz Night at the Bryant Corner (8-10pm with no cover!). Monday, kids eat free. Tuesday is half-priced cookies and Taco Tuesday. Wednesday is $2 lattes and half-priced bottles of wine. Thursday is half-priced pastries, with buy-one-get-one-free burgers in the evening. Friday is Special Cocktail Night. Saturday is, also, half-priced desserts. And Sunday, they do chicken and waffles!

From whatever corner of Seattle you call home, Bryant Corner Café & Bakery offers it all (even Seven Roasters Coffee!) and is the corner diner and bakery for you.
